Early this morning I met three guys at my new house one of them had a tiny chain saw, nailed boots and a climbing harness. I was really hoping when he got to the top of the tree he would be able to see Pilot Mountain where Borealis Internet has their wireless tower.
Well the Gods were smiling at me because for the first time since we started building this house everything went as planned, It worked. not only could he see the wireless tower but he was able to de-limb the tree without any problem and install a receiver. He had to cut the top off the tree but hey doesn't it look cool?
Below are the rest of the pics showing the cable running from the tree along the snow covered ground and into my house where it connects up to the router in my basement.
I'm soooo Happy.

LOL ok I promise ... this is my last post on your blog ... today ... but yes ... this is absolutely the coolest thing out there for the rurallllllll areas. And I hear fewer and fewer horror stories. You said wireless and I cringed with fear that you'd chosen satellite ... talk about horror ... bad bad bad.
